Christmas Tree

We finally got our Christmas tree (it was actually a week ago but I'm just now posting). :) Trevon had a blast picking it out. He was jumping around and pointing to every tree saying 'I love this one!' 'This one's the biggest!' 'Let's get this one!' It was so fun to watch and see things through his perspective. I think this is the first time he remembers previous Christmases. We got home and he couldn't wait to put the angel on top. He said he was going to get a ladder and put it up there, but I mentioned maybe we could wait for daddy to lift him up. Then, after we got it all decorated, he said 'now we need to put presents under there!'. We're still working on the 'true meaning of Christmas'. :)

Deagan didn't really care for the tree at first...he lost his ball behind there and didn't want to get poked.

Baby

I'm now 18 weeks along in my pregnancy. I felt the baby move last night for the first time (or I should say the first 4 times). He/she seemed to be active while I tried to relax on the couch reading a book. :) I'm so excited for this part of pregnancy...it's one of my favorites. It's the part that makes the pregnancy seem real. I guess it's a better reminder than nausea, irritability, weepiness and such. And in my case for the last week or so...insomnia. :(

And we can't forget about my guys...

Can you tell he had a peanut better sandwich before this picture?

The last few days...

This is where I found Deagan 'doing his business'.
When I snuck around the corner, I got this cheesy grin.

Myers Mischief: The Beginning

Nick and I were trying to find 'M' words to name our blog. Nick came up with mischief so we looked it up in the dictionary...

mis·chief –noun 1.conduct or activity that playfully causes petty annoyance.

Could that definition describe my husband (and the rest of us) any better? And so it stays. I told my friend Sara that if I got a new camera for Christmas, I would start a blog. Well, Santa delivered my present early so here we are...Entering the world of blogging. I hope you enjoy the pictures (I'm no photographer) and the comical antics of my family as much as I do.

Blessings!
